It took a couple of false starts with typos, etc getting missed, but I’m excited to announce that Joy Girl<\/em> is out, and I’ll be making a few appearances to support it. Joy Girl<\/em> is about silent film star, Olive Borden, and covers her time between the making of 3 Bad Men<\/em> and her death. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, I’ll be in Hollywood for Cinecon<\/a>, from August 18th through September 10th. It will be taking place at the Old Town Music Hall<\/a> in El Segundo, and I’m so excited to see more silent films on the big screen! Maybe I’ll see you there? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re also ironing out the details for an event at the Hollywood Heritage <\/a>Museum on September 9th, from 11-2. Stay tuned for more! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll be doing tons of research for multiple new books while I’m in town, and then, when I return home, I’ll have something happening at Audreys Books in Edmonton. More details on that when we can finalize it all. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
