It took a couple of false starts with typos, etc getting missed, but I’m excited to announce that Joy Girl is out, and I’ll be making a few appearances to support it. Joy Girl is about silent film star, Olive Borden, and covers her time between the making of 3 Bad Men and her death.
Firstly, I’ll be in Hollywood for Cinecon, from August 18th through September 10th. It will be taking place at the Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo, and I’m so excited to see more silent films on the big screen! Maybe I’ll see you there?
We’re also ironing out the details for an event at the Hollywood Heritage Museum on September 9th, from 11-2. Stay tuned for more!
I’ll be doing tons of research for multiple new books while I’m in town, and then, when I return home, I’ll have something happening at Audreys Books in Edmonton. More details on that when we can finalize it all.
