Busy busy busy!

Hi fans and friends–

You’ll be excited to know that the edits to my newest novel about Marie Prevost are going swimmingly. I’ve gotten my writing routine back in the mornings before work (so valuable to a creature of habit, like me). I’ve also been going hard at it on the weekends, thanks to the nice folks at Cafe Blackbird, here in Edmonton, who’ve created a friendly, warm space for me to go on weekends, stock up on lattes and London Fogs, and motor through a bazillion edits!

I’m taking a quick break between Christmas parties (this weekend we have two of them) to share a photo my husband took of our cat, Lily, helping me verify my German translation a while back (note the ever-present Langenscheidt in my hand):

Happy holidays, everyone!
